This map appeared in a new publication of Epitome, i.e. small version of Ortelius’ Theatrum, published by Jan van Keerbergen. The maps are mostly similar to those in the Epitome of Galle, but remade. Islandia is similar to that of Galle, here made by the Ambrosius brothers. The main difference is that it now has a double border and longitudes and latitudes marked on it. The resemblance with the original Islandia of 1590 does not go beyond the rough shape of the country.
