Uno von Troil (1746-1803) was a Swedish theologist, who joined the excursion of Sir Joseph Banks til Iceland, in 1772. He was responsible for keeping the ship’s journal. Later he wrote a book about the trip, Bref rörande en resa til Island or Letters regarding a trip to Iceland.
